HARVEST TIME AND PROCESSING
Harvested in May 2016. 3-4 leaves are picked together and partially oxidised and gently roasted with medium heat for twice.
Shui Xian is one of the oldest single tea bush varietals found in Fujian province, and very suitable for making oolong teas. Shui Xian bushes have very large leaves comparing to other bushes and are very resilient to temperatures and easy to grow, both Shui Xian and Rou Gui are the most predominant bushes that are grown in Wu Yi Mountain region producing large quantities of Rock teas. As a result, there is huge difference in grade and the price.
This Shui Xian rock oolongs were harvested from old bushes that are around 60 years old growing in the inner area of Wu Yi Mountain means that the soil is rich in rock and it is also the heaven for orchid.
Strong and pure floral aroma just like you are smelling a delicate orchid flower. Rich and thick texture. Gentle sweetness lingering in the mouth and throat.
