Earthenware is a pottery made of clay fired to a porous state which can be made impervious to liquids by the use of a glaze. These collections are made by the artisanal workshop - Fan Shan Tang, based in the pottery capital of Jingdezhen, south-east of China. It is the one and only major studio to preserve and modernised the art of Chinese pottery traditions. Its crafting techniques set the brand apart from its competitors.
