SHENG PUER - 2017 Han Feng

This tea is made from ancient tree material of considerable aged within the Lincang region.  For a Sheng Puer from 2017 that has been stored until now, its flavour is in a fascinating mid-transformation stage:

The grassy greenness aroma of its youth has dissipated.  The fresh floral notes have transformed into more honey aroma and aged aroma.  Liquor colour is bright and light orange-red.  The assertiveness of its youth has softened and there is almost no bitterness and astringency. The overall flavour is extremely stable and produce mellow, sweet, and smooth character, yet the thickness and richness in the mouth still be present and feel much more integrated and rounded. For the one who is familiar with Cha Qi (Tea Energy), after drinking, one would likely experience a noticeable sense of warmth and relaxation in the body.
