Special Tea Tasting: The True Essence of Yunnan High Mountain - Saturday 10th Jan at 3pm

Location: in the shop, at 14 Portobello Green, 281 Portobello Road, London W10 5TZ. 

We are thrilled to introduce a selection of exceptional teas, personally sourced by Juyan’s esteemed tea expert friend from China, Mr. Liu Yinsheng.

Mr. Liu oversees severalancient tea gardens in Yunnan Province, all located athigh altitudes above 1,800 metres.They are home to century-old, seed-grown tea trees.The soil is predominantlysandstone-based, the tea trees arenever pruned, the soil isnever turned, and the gardens coexist naturally with surrounding vegetation — creating an ideal ecological environment for exceptional tea.From these ancient gardens, we will introduce a range of teas for tasting:

• White tea – delicate, fragrant, and subtly sweet

• Raw Puer tea – deep, complex, with the earthy elegance of aged mountain leaves

• Red (black) tea – rich, aromatic, and full-bodied

• A Surprising tea 

We invite you to taste the mountains, where every cup reflects nature, tradition, and devotion.

Due to the limited spaces, the booking fee is non-refundable and cannot be carried forward to another event date or redeemed on products but can be transferred to your friends by email us to confirm.
