Light and smooth green tea, one chrysanthemum flower in the middle and sweet jasmine flowers on the top. A spectacular flowering tea make a great cup for everyday tea or a great gift.

Hand Tied Flowering Teas are often made with the emphasis on how the tea looks with little concern for tea quality. The Chinese Tea Company has selected exceptional green tea as a base and some delicate jasmine flowers and Chrysanthemum flower bloom in the middle. Jasmine and Chrysanthemum flowers add their floral scent and light taste to this delectable smooth green tea.

Jasmine has been used to calm the nerves and sooth emotional problems. The main function of the chrysanthemum is to produce an effect toward clear vision, refreshment and assist with digestion.

There are 7 balls (about 50g) in the bag.

Brewing Instructions:
  • Use freshly drawn cold water

  • Water temperature 100 ºC

  • Put 1 tea ball into a 500ml glass cup or glass pot

  • Steep until the tea ball flowers open

  • Infusions: at least 3 times – don't remove tea ball from the mug, as once the water level is low, simply add more water and keep going until the flavour of the tea is gone

  • Brewing vessel: Tall/Large glass cup/tea pot
