Clay type: Jiang Po Ni 降坡泥
Jiang Po Ni was only discovered in the early 1990s while building a new road in Yixing. During the road construction, the workers discovered a layer of zisha ore. The ore is particularly rare because of the a nuaturally occurred mixture of three kinds of zisha: red clay (Hong Ni), purple clay (Zi Ni) and yellow clay (Duan Ni).

This pot is particularly suitable to brewing roasted oolongs.
