Our premium quality Lion's Peak Dragon Well Green Tea (Long Jing) produces a clear golden colour infusion that is mellow and nutty with an underlining savoury character of warmed spring greens and toasted pumpkin seeds. It’s aftertaste is mildly salty and vegetal and lingers on the palate long after you have enjoying the cup. The smooth and silky texture and the depth of flavour make this a truly remarkable Dragon Well.  One for your collection.

Our Dragon Well is made from the finest first flush tea buds grown in a tea plantation that is located on Shi Feng Mountain (Lion’s Peak Mountain) near West Lake in Hangzhou; The exact area where Dragon Well originated. Hangzhou is famous for producing the most celebrated green tea in China and is also home to the original 18 Dragon Well bushes that were a tribute to the Qing Emperor, Qianlong.

Lion's Peak Dragon Well (Shi Feng Long Jing) is easy to recognise by its flat pan roasted leaves of green and yellow shades and its savoury and toasty aroma. The clear golden colour infusion is mellow and nutty with an underlining savoury character of warmed spring greens and toasted pumpkin seeds. It’s aftertaste is mildly salty and vegetal and lingers on the palate long after you have enjoying the cup. The smooth and silky texture and the depth of flavour make this a truly remarkable Long Jing.

We source our Lion's Peak Dragon Well directly from Tea Master Mr. Wang who’s family have produced their green teas in Long Jing village for generations. Mr. Wang is very highly skilled in hand frying the fresh tea buds and leaves to create Dragon Well's unique flat shape and wonderful nutty flavour. This tea should not be missed.
