Harvested in May 2017. 2-3 leaves are picked together and partially oxidised and gently roasted with medium heat.
Que She means sparrow’s tongue, is named for its delicate and narrow leave shape. Que She also refers to bush cultivar’s name, is a mixed cultivar between Da Hong Pao and other local cultivar. The cultivar is known for growing very slowly and producing a smaller and later yield than others, local people refer the bush to “not sure when the spring is coming”.
The flavour is smooth and gentle with hints of lychee, vanilla and creamy which is quite distinctive from any other Rock tea. It has the singular flavour but very elegant.
