28th March. 1 young shoot with 2 slight opened leaves were hand-picked, leaves will be placed it on bamboo trays and wither it for about 2 hours to remove some moisture content, then leaves become soft. The soften leaves will be fried by machine at a very high temperature (about 200 -250 degree celsius) for few minutes stop oxidation process. Then tea leaves will be transferred into a wok and continually fried in wok at 70 - 90 degree celsius and gently compressed by hand against the wok to create Dragon Well’s signature flat shaped leaves.
